Doctor patient relationship

As part of our services healthcare professionals can offer online appointments to clients. We have no control over such scheduling and do not guarantee the availability of any healthcare provider. Furthermore, we will not be liable for any damages (loss or injury) which result from unfulfilled appointments, whatsoever.

Rewards

We are not involved in assignment or allocation of rewards in any shape or forms. Rewards are assigned and administered at the sole discretion of the healthcare providers. We will not be liable for any damages (loss or injury) which result from implications of rewards set by healthcare providers.

Website login and account credentials

You understand that access to our website is provided by way of the account username assigned to you by us and the confidential password you establish for your account  (your account credentials), and therefore, that knowledge of your account credentials by any other person may result in that person being able to access your account information on our website. We are expressly authorized by you to allow access to your account on our website to accept Electronic Signatures from, anyone using your account credentials. We are entitled to assume without enquiry that anyone accessing your account with your account credentials is you or has been authorized by you to carry out these actions, including, where you have requested and been granted such right, any Electronic Signatures. Documents effected on your account. You understand and agree that maintenance of the security of access to your account on our website (including the strict confidentiality of your account credentials) is your sole responsibility. You also agree that you will not access or try to access restricted areas of our computer system or perform or try to perform functions that are not authorized. If we reasonably suspect that you are doing so or that you are using your account credentials or our website in any inappropriate manner, we may, without notice and without prejudice to any other remedies available to us, suspend or terminate access to your account on our website. Your account credentials remain our sole property and may be suspended or terminated by us at any time without notice or liability to you or to any other person.

Subscription services for healthcare providers

We offer two types of subscriptions for healthcare providers, monthly and annual. When you buy any form of subscription service you agree to the terms and conditions included here. For the monthly subscription service, you agree that you are billed and charged on a monthly basis until you cancel your subscription (you can do this by using the contact us link or sending us an email to support@shareyourdoctor.com). If you do cancel a monthly subscription you will only be charged for the month you have used the service (for example, if you purchase the service on Jan/1/2020 and cancel on Jan/2/2020 you will be charged for one month). For the annual subscription service, you agree that you are billed and charged for the entire annual cost of the subscription at the time of purchase. You have 30 days to cancel an annual subscription service (you will only be charged for one month). If you cancel after 30 days, no refund will be provided. 

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the provincial laws of the province of British Columbia,  and federal laws of Canada. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the provincial and federal courts located in British Columbia, Canada for the resolution of any disputes.

Privacy policy

We take our commitment to securing patient privacy very seriously.  Our employees are informed about the importance of privacy and receive information periodically to update them about our Privacy Policy and related issues. We do not collect any health information from you.  We will limit the information we collect to what we need for the purposes of finding you a doctor (this includes your first and last name and phone number) and we will use it only for those purposes. We require that you DO NOT share any personal information about yourself or your health via our online chat service with our employees or health care providers. We will not be liable for any damages (loss or injury) which result from implications of sharing such information on our live chat system.

Data deletion policy

We take our commitment to securing patient privacy very seriously.  We believe that every user should have the right to delete his account. Please email us by going to this link and let us know if you would like admin to delete your account.
